"The staff was phenomenal. The room was clean and fairly updated. But, booker beware, if you're in the main building the "club" pool etc ..is a hike away from your room. My room was facing the outisde if the resort and man was it LOUD....right near the highway and an airport. Trucks and Planes ..... Its a nice place ... but if you're looking to get away for some sun and pool time i suggest you make a request for a room facing the interior and near ro the club. And definitely go eat at NOSH...."

"We like it all, except that in the bathroom, the shower set up was crazy. They had installed the shower in the middle of the wall, facing towards the outside/curtains of the shower. There was only 1 cloth curtain, and the water came all over the bathroom floor, making it a hazard to anybody, as one could slip on the floor due to the water coming outside. The floor mat would not cover all that amount of water coming out. It was installed in the wrong section of the wall. We mentioned it...

"Beautiful hotel. Old Florida feel it was amazing. Many great garden sitting patios to relax and read a book. Our room was very spacious and incredibly clean. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely will return "

"We recently stayed in the Penthouse Suite. Our room was spacious and clean. The view was amazing, overlooking the bay and marina with floor to ceiling windows. It’s only a few hundred yards to all of the restaurants on 5th Avenue. Friendly staff upon check in. We’ll definitely be back soon. "

"We had a very nice stay overnight at the charming Shangri La. We arrived late afternoon and checked out the next morning. The bed was comfortable and shower was great. Towels were good, just wish there was a place to hang them and clothing near the shower stall door while showering. The patio was a nice surprise and coming from a colder climate it was nice to sit there in January. The only real downside was that we heard lots of noise any time other guests rolled their bags down the sidewalk...
